Howard Payne University announces Yellow Jackets 5th At West Region Invitational

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Howard Payne University's Kyle Anderson had his 5th top ten finish of the season guiding the Yellow Jackets to 5th place overall at the West Region Invitational hosted by Southwestern University at the Berry Creek Country Club this week.

HPU's Kyle Anderson shot a 224 (70-77-77) to end in 9th place overall. Anderson was also in the top ten in Par 3 and Par 4 scoring overall the three round tournament.

Lucas Kinkade finished T-16th with a 230 (78-76-76). Kinkade ended the tournament fourth in Par 5 scoring (4.92 -1).

Kaleb Brown shot a 231 (76-72-83) to finish T-18th. Harrison Hopson shot a 233 (75-82-76) to end T-22nd. Brady Nelson was T-26th overall with a 237 (77-81-79).

The Yellow Jackets will compete next at The Battle in Brownwood hosted by HPU at the Brownwood Country Club on April 17-18.
