The NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament is ready to begin with the collegiate team of former Fort Myers High School Avery Perkins participating
Former Fort Myers High School player and current Tampa Spartans outfielder, Avery Perkins, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.
They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the sixth seeded Alabama Huntsville Chargers.
The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
