Joe Balsam, former Spruce Creek High School - Volusia Co baseball player will compete with his collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship

Former Spruce Creek High School - Volusia Co player and current Embry-Riddle FL Eagles right handed pitcher, Joe Balsam, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the sixth seeded Delta State Statesmen.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
