Former Cypress High School standout Vise Zarate’s collegiate team to play for NCAA D2 Softball Championship starting Thursday, May 9

Former Cypress High School player and current Bridgeport Purple Knights pitcher, Vise Zarate, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number seven seed against the second seeded Adelphi Panthers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
