Former Central High School standout Shelby Newsome’s collegiate team to play for NCAA D2 Softball Championship starting Thursday, May 9

Former Central High School player and current Auburn Montgomery Warhawks outfielder, Shelby Newsome, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Spring Hill Badgers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
