Connar Gardner, former Desoto Central High School baseball player will compete with his collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship

Former Desoto Central High School player and current Delta State Statesmen catcher, Connar Gardner, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Embry-Riddle FL Eagles.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
